YES Camp Logo Contest

What is this for?

YES -Youth Encountering Success

YES is a program for youth and young adults, ages 14-24, to develop the independent living skills that lead to a successful adult life.

Topics include:

  • Budgeting and money management

  • College, career or trade preparation

  • Healthy relationships

  • Home management including kitchen safety, cleaning, laundry, etc.

  • Career and job preparation

Y.E.S. Logo Contest Rules


  1. The contest is open to submissions from anyone. Contestants can work in groups or individually; only one (1) prize will be awarded, regardless of group size.

  2. By entering, participants agree to be bound by the contest rules. Violating any rule or not following instructions may eliminate participants’ eligibility.

Submission Guidelines and How to Enter

  1. The contest opens on February 16, 2024 and closes on April 2, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST). Late submissions will not be considered.

  2. All entries must be submitted electronically to PILC at The words “Logo Contest” must appear in the email subject line.

  3. Submissions must include the full name of the person(s) who designed the logo, a current email address, postal address, and telephone number. For groups, include the contact information for the main representative of the group only.

  4. One or more submissions per person or group is acceptable. Each submission must be sent in a separate email.

  5. There is no fee to enter the contest.

Logo Design Guidelines and Parameters

  1. The logo should incorporate the term, “YES”.

  2. No uniquely identifying information shall be included in the design (signatures or proprietary images, patterns, or watermarks, etc.)

  3. Entries must be submitted as JPEG files. For quality reproduction purposes, the winning entry must later be submitted in scalable vector graphic format (EPS).

  4. Color must be CMYK, though the logo may also be reproduced in black and white. Contestants are advised to avoid gradients and half-tones.

  5. The logo must be easy to use, handle, resize, and manipulate for all reproduction purposes. It should be visually appealing on both small (as small as 2 cm x 2 cm) and large scales.

Intellectual Property

  1. All entrants affirm their submissions are their own original work, have not been copied from others, and do not violate the intellectual property rights of any other person or entity.

  2. The winning submission becomes the sole property of PILC and may be used for any purpose, including, but not limited to, display on websites, social media sites, posters, and other materials.

  3. PILC shall have the right to edit, modify, or otherwise use the winning submission, in part or in whole, as it chooses.

Determination of Winner and Prize

  1. The contest winner will receive $500.

  2. The winning entry will be selected by an independent panel of judges. The decision of the judges is final.

  3. Entries will be judged on creativity, visual appeal, quality of design, and ease of reproduction for the purposes stated above.

  4. A winner will be selected and notified via email no later than April 30, 2024


  1. PILC is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or otherwise unusable entries, including entries that are lost or unusable due to computer, internet, or data problems.

  2. PILC is not liable, for the purpose of winner and prize notification and delivery, in the event the contest winner has provided incorrect, outdated, or otherwise invalid contact information.

  3. PILC reserves the right to cancel or modify this competition and award the prize by alternate means if fraud, intellectual property violations, or technical failure of the Contest is determined at any time by PILC, including after the contest entry submission window has closed.
